A Story of Transformation

A young boy's struggles at school were being seen as defiance. Traditional approaches weren't working, and pressure was mounting on both child and parent.....

The Challenge:

  • School saw behaviour that needed correcting

  • Parent felt pressured to 'fix' the problems

  • Traditional approaches weren't working

  • Child becoming more withdrawn and stressed

The Turning Point:

Through parent coaching, we discovered:

  • Behaviour was communication

  • Sensory needs were being missed

  • Grief was affecting engagement

  • Safety needed to come first

The Transformation:

  • By supporting mum to:

  • Understand her child's true needs

  • Trust her parental instincts

  • Advocate with confidence

  • Create safety through understanding

The child was able to:

  • Process grief appropriately

  • Receive proper sensory support

  • Feel safe and understood

  • Successfully return to mainstream education
